Kyrgyzstan is a mountain country that estimates about 88 great mountain ranges. These mountain ranges are located on different altitudes with pristine nature and fresh air. As most of the part of Tien Shan is on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, these mountain ranges are continuation of it. In a tour in Kyrgyzstan you will get the information that The Pamir Mountains are on the territory of Gorno-Badakhshan in region of Tajikistan, and then join the Tien Shan system in Alay valley in Kyrgyzstan; the Range Chon Alai is a part of the Pamir Mountains in the south. Kyrgyzstan is located in the very heart of mountains that is why it is divided into regions by mountains. The 100-300 km long road Bishkek-Osh is the only one in Kyrgyzstan that connects the north and the south. The range Kakshaal is known as the longest of 582 km long. On the south of Bishkek at the length 454 km spreads the Kyrgyz Range. There are about 10-40 km wide ranges also in Kyrgyzstan.

             Remarkable is the the Terskey Ala Too range on the south shores of lake Issyk Kul. Kungey Ala Too range in interpretation means "sunny mountains" and is on the north of lake Issyk Kul in Kyrgyzstan. It's believed to be the border of Kyrgyzstan with Kazakhstan in 40 km south from Bishkek on the Northern length. The range located in the very north is the system Zaalaiskiy mountain range; the Pamirs are on the south of Kyrgyzstan. In the process of travelling along Kyrgyzstan you will note that Pamir- Alai Mountains give the beginning to Turkestan and Alai ranges splitting into the Pamirs and the Tien Shan. The Tien Shan Mountain System in Kyrgyzstan is rather wide and Ak Sheirak, Chatkal, Ferghana, Keolu, Kok Shaal, Talas and Zaalaisky are part of it.
