Sulaiman mountain


              The site Sulaiman Mountain is connected with an interesting legend that the King Solomon (Suleiman) visited this very mountain located in the territory of modern Kyrgyzstan, that until the 16th century was called Bara-Kukh, Takht-i-Suleiman - "The Throne of Solomon". As this place plays an important role in the history of Kyrgyzstan, the mosque was named the same and is located at the very height of the mountain, in honor of the Timurid dynasty.               Sulaiman Mountain is in the center of the city Osh, Kyrgyzstan and is about 300 years old.
