Sulaiman mountain
The site Sulaiman Mountain is connected with an interesting legend that the King Solomon (Suleiman) visited this very mountain located in the territory of modern Kyrgyzstan, that until the 16th century was called Bara-Kukh, Takht-i-Suleiman - "The Throne of Solomon". As this place plays an important role in the history of Kyrgyzstan, the mosque was named the same and is located at the very height of the mountain, in honor of the Timurid dynasty. Due to the history of the place it was included in the list of the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009, June.
Sulaiman Mountain is in the center of the city Osh, Kyrgyzstan and is about 300 years old. The mountain is as high as 1175 meters above sea level and as long as 1,140 meters, width is 560 meters.
